Barberousse (1920-2010)

Jean-Marie let me know the French cartoonist Barberousse died at the age of 90.

Read the article in "Le Figaro".

The first two albums of Barbarousse have been published in Belgium in 1964:
- "Le chat et la souris" (The cat and the mouse), Dupuis, the No. 11 of the collection Gag de Poche
- "En suivant de crayon de Barberousse" (following the pencil of Barberousse), Casterman.

The only foray into politics are his illustrations for the book by Jean Amadou: "7 ans, c'est tentant'" (7 years is tempting!), Published at the time of the 1981 French presidential elections.

I recently purchased 7 out of the 1963 12 part series of Barberousse "Comment on S'enrhume entre chats et souris." I'm curious to know if there is a Collector of this art series and what is the worth of each cartoon panel. All are in their original frames.
